Perfect Games and New ICTs within the Framework of a Bertrand Duopoly

We assess the impact of new information and communication technologies (ICT) on the competitiveness of enterprises in a competitive environment using as restricted model, the Bertrand duopoly where two firms engage in price competition. We consider the case of competition with minimum information. We find that he effects of ICT on business competitiveness vary and can be: positive, negative, neutral or irrelevant beyond a certain threshold of use.
